October is Breast Cancer Awareness & Domestic Violence Awareness Month. CCHD salutes all the courageous survivors and those still in the struggle.
Every Fall, Linda Van Fossen our director goes into high schools to talk about dating abuse. The students are receptive, and, often, ask questions about how to help a “friend.” In the next few months, Linda will be presenting several workshops. – One for the New Jersey Self Help Clearinghouse on Anger and Aggression. As part of our ongoing commitment to children, she will also be speaking at a meeting for Parents Anonymous. In addition, Linda will be talking in Red Bank about The ingredients of Good Parenting.
