> Mission
The Counseling Centers for Human Development is an association of non-profit, interfaith and interdisciplinary counseling centers. We seek to provide counseling, human resource direction and psychotherapeutic services of the highest quality to the community. By bringing together the insights of psychiatry and psychology, the techniques of psychotherapy and the wisdom and healing resources of spirituality, we work with people to find health, wholeness and meaningful answers to their problems.  We provide our services regardless of age, race, gender, ethnic background or religious affiliation. Staff members are trained, certified and licensed in their disciplines and all clinical work is supervised. To walk into a room for the first time and began to talk with a complete stranger about deeply personal issues feels frightening and overwhelming. We understand how difficult it is to take that first step. That first one, you must take alone. After that, an experienced empathic therapist will be right there for the other steps. Fees are based on a sliding scale, and we will assist counselees in applying for third party payments.
